This week I was diligent about my food and kept to the strict plan. I also gave 100% at my three workouts, even on Wednesday when I wasn't feeling 100%, I pushed through and finished the workout (it was a few minutes short, but Stacy decided to be safe and not risk any long term issues). On Friday, the workout BEGAN with a 20 minute set of squats while throwing/catching a weight ball to/from Stacy. How many squats??! 400 ... yes FOUR HUNDRED SQUATS!!!! I didn't realize how many I did until I was finished with the workout! As soon as I finished with the set, I couldn't help but lay down flat on my back on the floor!!!! Stacy must have had some sympathy for me, because she let me lay there and rest ... before the workout CONTINUED (I realized when I got up, that laying down was a BAD IDEA ... my legs were so tight I almost couldn't stand up)!!!! Yes, there was MORE after this 20 minutes of painful hell!!! The rest of the workout was 3 sets of high knees, 15 kettle ball swings, 100 jumps with the jump rope and 100 jumping jacks!!! After I finished these sets, I was finally done!!! My legs were so tired, sore and shaky, I practically fell down the steps when I was leaving!!!! Two days later, my legs STILL HURT!!!!
But, all of my hard work has already begun to pay off ... as I was leaving Stacy's on Friday night, I told her I didn't feel like I had lost anything. I knew I was good with my food choices, and I kicked ass in my workouts, but I didn't know what the scale would say in the morning. Stacy's advice was something along the lines of "even if you didn't lose, it's not an excuse to eat like shit next week" ... LOL!!! Luckily, I didn't have to worry ... I got on that scale and found out I LOST 4.8 pounds ... in ONE WEEK!!!! I asked the girl there "did I see that right?" and she said "yep, down 4.8 pounds! good work!" WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! I could've done the happy dance right there!!!
Now, I am not letting this get to my head ... I will continue to work my ass off with Stacy and follow the strict plan on Weight Watchers; and I know that I can't expect these huge losses every week either. I will plod along and know that it will all pay off in the long run.
