We started on the treadmill; doing the speed intervals again, 6.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.5 ... for a mile ... except I had to be slowed down for a minute or so to get my breathing under control, then I accidentally pulled the emergency cord to stop the machine. I really had no intention on stopping, but by hands were flailing about and pulled it. In a way, it's good to know how sensitive it is!!! LOL!!! I still finished the mile, and for the last minute, Stacy turned the speed up to 7.0!!! 7.0 is FAST!!!!! I pushed through and finished. I was dead tired after that mile tho!!
Next up was exercise sets ... dead lifts, wide leg squats, some kind of one leg lunges (no idea what they're really called), frog jumps - that's the one that hurt my knee! I had a little too much umph on a jump and bent my knee way too tight and it hurt bad. I stretched it and loosened it up and was able to finish the set, but I didn't do those again! Then we did ab exercises together - tossing a 6 pound ball while twisting to the side and then sit ups with the ball and throwing it back and forth to each other, and more leg exercises that I don't know how to describe! All I know is that it was an AWESOME WORKOUT!!!!! As painful as it is the next day, the soreness feels GREAT!!! I always feel so accomplished when I'm sore the next day!!!
