Its so hard to keep this up when you feel like you aren't getting anywhere. my clothes still feel the same on me, and I am sure when I weigh myself on Monday, ill still only be down 8 pounds. I want to lose another 25, but gotta just keep swimming just keep swimming.. Im going out to dinner tonight, and its hard not having my usual dinner of being a fat guy and drinking a ton of wine..
Another day, same routine.
Todays workout was tough, we started with 3 minutes straight of burpees, and then 2 minutes, and then 100 jumping jacks, 100 squats, crab walk, shuffling, and an ab workout. It was one of the hardest workouts I had felt because I was sick for 3-4 days and working out was minimum. Felt good to feel sore again though. For dinner I kept it simple with shrimp. (my fav) Wednesday and still feeling weak and sluggish. I am still doing great with eating clean, but don't feel strong enough to work out. Tomorrow will be the day I will get back on track with everything.
Can't wait. Tuesday, I was suppose to train with Stacy and Tracey but I had some sort of stomach virus. I am feeling down because it is always harder to eat right when your sick, and only want certain things. I also haven't had a real work out since friday nights besides shoveling that I did on Saturday & Sunday.
So I am the only one in the office today and i couldn't be more annoyed. I am exhausted and PMSing, so all I want is chocolate.
I am hoping my street is plowed, because they haven't even got to it yet. For breakfast this morning I hate a hardboiled egg, and a greens & fruit juice. For lunch I had grilled chicken mixed with zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, and onions. Pretty delicious. 68 days left! So my workouts Saturday & Sunday consisted of shoveling. I was also sore from working out all week, so shoveling was even a harder task. I knew I would be going out Sunday for the football games, so I filled up with my usually juice, egg whites, and orange, and also meal prepped for the rest of the week.
I plan on working out Tues-Saturday, so I am taking another actual rest day today, and hoping to dig out my car if they every plow my street. 69 more days left ! So Friday night, I went to the bar & had water, was a little weird at first, but knowing I'm doing right by my body, I was ok with it. On saturday morning, of blizzard Jonas, I made sure to make my usual greens & fruit juice. I tried to keep filling my body with health stuff, because all I really wanted was to just snack and binge, while watching movies. I snacked on nuts, and fruit, and was really good all day. There is nothing like eating ice cream while being snowed in but I survived the cravings.
So it's only been 19 days of eating right & working out and I am already down 7 pounds !
This morning, I couldn't sleep till my normal time, I don't know why I was so restless, so since I didn't have anything for breakfast or lunch, I decided to cook before work so I wouldn't be tempted to have anything I shouldn't. I grilled turkey breast cutlets in a little coconut oil on a grill pan and sautéed broccoli & cauliflower, (used a little coconut oil & garlic). I also made 5 hardboiled eggs, and took 2 for breakfast, and made a juice with blueberries and frozen strawberries (all I had).
I went on lunch and bought a whole bunch of fruit and veggies to get through this blizzard so I don't snack. Today was tough because it was my 3 year anniversary and all I wanted to do was go out to eat. Instead I didn't really have an appetite for dinner, and only had a soup.
For breakfast I had a normal juice, and for lunch I had an all natural PB&J. It is frustrating that it take this long to lose weight and a lot of work, but I will get there.. The workout of today was : Hey I have to going to the city today at 6:30 for a meeting about coaching for the Special Olympics. So I'm gonna send you guys the workouts. Please FaceTime each other so this way you can help each other out 3x 10 jump lunges 10 push-ups 10 squat jumps 5 sit-ups 7-1 Burpees Jumping jack and turns (Jumping jack and jump turn to face other way) Do 7 of eAch, then 6, then 5 all the way till 1 5 min AMRAP: 20 squats, 10 situps Rest 2 minutes 5 min AMRAP: 20 squats, 10 situps but before I did this I ran a mile. The burpees were tough after all the pushups that were done. Instead of doing 10 in a row, because I can't yet, I did 5 pushups to start and then 5 in middle of the rep. |
